There have been so many exciting sports games, theatre shows and concert happening in your city recently and you'd like to get out to one of them yourself. After you've thought about what types of events interest you, you'll want to lock down some tickets.

Maybe you think that you like theatre performances best of all. Well now you'll want to look at a few of the key venues that typically support the style / genre of event you'd like to attend. Each venue will have a roster of events that they will accommodate on a regular basis.

Looking for event info can be fun, but also confusing and time consuming. Google is an excellent place to start, because their powerful search engine algorithm and browsing functionality. You'll be able to find local info and sort by location easily.

Where else can you find info on hot events? Well, you can use social sites like Facebook and Twitter. Facebook gets you talking to friends to hear what they think about events. Twitter is a little different, but can be very powerful for someone who is seeking hundreds, if not thousands, of opinions on a particular subject.

Up to this point, you will certainly have stumbled upon a few websites that are selling tickets. Take this chance to browse through these sites to see what's happening in your area over the next little while.

So you've looked around on a couple of different ticketing sites, and you're looking for events in your area. What next? Well, pin down the exact event you'd like to attend and do your best to find one that has enough tickets left over for you and your friends.

You've found your event and you see that tickets are being listed for sale. Now you might find that you're dealing with a site that is selling tickets to events that have previously been listed on other sites, but have now sold out. No worries there, the only concession is that you might pay a little more.

Guess what? You're almost done. You've located enough tickets for you and your friends to an event that is fun and affordable, so it's time to checkout.
