Tea parties are making a comeback, and what is a party without games? Here are some games that are sure to bring giggles from all of your lovely guests.

The first game is called Teacup Swap. Any number of people can play Teacup Swap and everyone is a winner! To play, each person needs a teacup and saucer. Let guests know in your invitation that they need to bring a teacup and saucer or you can provide one for each person if your party budget allows it.

When your guests arrive, have them place their teacups at their place setting or have them already arranged there if you are providing them.

Invite all of your guests to admire each teacup and saucer set by walking around the table. When everyone has finished looking, ask the first guest to arrive to be the first to choose a teacup.

Continue in the order in which the guests arrived, or you can go in age order, or have numbers drawn from a hat.

It is lots of fun if you keep the fact that they will be trading teacups a secret. Just make sure that those bringing their own know that they should make sure they bring a teacup that they don't mind giving away.

Teacup Swap is lots of fun because each person gets to keep the teacup and saucer set of their choice!

The second game you are about to learn is called Tea Tasting. This is a great game to play with smaller groups. Make sure that you have several teapots handy, and a little trinket to give away for a prize.

Find a few different teas and prepare each in a separate teapot.

Serve a small sampling of a tea to your each of your guests and let them try to guess what kind of tea it is.

When everyone has tasted and guessed each flavor, give the best guesser a small prize.

Writing down which tea is in which pot is a good idea, just in case you forget.

Try buying different herbal teas that have distinct flavors for those at the party that do not normally drink tea.

If you have a mixed tea flavor, make sure it is one that is well known. A strange, unfamiliar flavor combo with be confusing to your guests. The easier this game is the better, so stick to what they know for the most part.

These teas should be familiar to your guests and have contrasting flavors:

Peppermint

Rose Hip

Orange Zest

Green Tea

Lavender

Chai

Chamomile

Ginger

Raspberry

A tea party is not complete without a lovely and fancy hat. This game doubles as a favor, since your guests will get to take home their hat!

You will probably need materials, and a dollar store or a craft store clearance sale will probably carry everything you need.

Don't worry too much about finding the perfect craft supplies. Your guests are sure to get creative with whatever you supply.

Amazing Magic Tricks With Cards

You have seen them tons of times, but have you marvelled the way in which the wizard did the trick? The following are the most simple and doubtless the most used beginning magic tricks with cards ever preformed.The first of the magic tricks with cards is the proven "Find the Card." the single thing required is a deck of cards and good acting skills. To start this trick say the old order, "Pick a Card, Any Card." Then having a volunteer select a card which you then "pretend" to lose it among the remainder of the deck. This is the card that you find magically later.

The genuine trick to this newb card trick is recalling where another card is and you inserting the selected card by the memorized card. So when you have the volunteer place the card in the card deck, you must ensure, the deck when you split it, is where the memorized card is. So when you go to tug the selected card all you need to do is keep an eye on the memorized card. This following is one out of many easy sorcery tricks is known as "The 4 Acres." This is fun one to learn ; it requires a bit of practice but is worthwhile. This one you want to begin with the 4 aces on top of the deck. Then while the gang is watching shuffle the deck but you must ensure that the "aces stay on top."

Have an affiliate of the fans come cut the deck 4 times beginning from the right; ensure that the quarter the aces are in is on the right. Then have the person take the 3 cards from the pinnacle of the pile that's on the left and place them on the bottom. Then take the 3 cards from the apex of the pile, place one on each one of the remaining piles. Have the person do it over again with the leftover three piles then have them turn OTT card of all 4 piles. They should all be the aces.

The next magic tricks with cards calls for ruining a good deck of cards but it is a good one. It is called "4 10s into 4 aces" To prepare for this trick, you need to start out with removing the tens along with the aces. Taking the 10 and ace of hearts and glue them together back to back with a glue stick (no glue bubbles.) This is the "full card." Taking the other three Aces, cut them diagonally, leave the 10's in one piece. Taking a part of each ace and match it with it's 10 glue them together. Then you are ready.

To start the tricks display the prepared cards so that the cards overlap and only the 10's show. Be sure that the full card is the card that everyone sees as "the end of the fours cards." Then you just collapse the cards down to a single deck. Meanwhile distract the audience with acting as though you are doing magic to do the change. Meanwhile maneuver the "full card and flip it over" make sure that the card stay in the correct spot. Do not forget to rotate the cards so the Aces now show when you show the audience that you changed the 10's into 4 aces.

These three magic tricks with cards are simple cards tricks that anyone can learn. It just takes time, practice, and great acting skills to pull them off. It is recommended while practicing to do so in front of a mirror to see how you are progressing with your slight of hand. - 29943

Flat screen televisions have not taken too long to be the accepted as normal in many of our houses. The battle has gone on for several years between LCD and plasma televisions, with LCD coming out on top due to their longer life span and more affordable prices. However, the days of the LCD may well be numbered, with the latest generation being released through the new LED television.

Cynics out there, (of which I am a fully paid up member of the club), will snort at such an announcement and claim it is nothing more than a money making exercise. And whilst this holds some water; the technology in an LED television is a step in the right direction, so should not be dismissed too readily.

In essence, an LED television is just the same as the LCD that is probably sitting in your lounge right now. The difference is regards how the light emitting diodes, (LED), send the light to the screen. This is of course very complex, but in layman terms relies on backlit or sidelit, (edge), technology.

Having the lights set up in this way allows for greater control of the picture; lights can be dimmed and brightened independently of their neighbours; creating a richer content and feel and most important of all, creating true image black scale; they key to picture quality.

Whilst the benefits are far reaching with LED television technology being able to produce better quality images with high brightness and contrast levels, the benefits do not stop here. This better quality image is produced using less power and creating less light and heat wastage. This of course also allows the lifespan to be much longer than even the most robust of LCD TV currently on the market.

The depth of the TVs is also thinner than what is presently available. Amazing as this may sound, it is quite true. The depth of LCD and plasmas are presently given in inches, an LED television will be measured in millimetres; with somewhere around 9 or 10 being the standard, though screens of just 6mm are available now.

Okay, this all sounds excellent but of course, it isn't all good news. Whilst no limitations exist to the operation of an LED television, there is a limitation regards affordability. It is really no different to the large prices that LCD and most particularly plasmas were tagged with though.

The benefits then are quite significant with this new technology; better pictures, better lighting; better control, and all whilst having a positive impact on the environment. Indeed, the only downside remains the price.

However, as with any new concept, the price will be high initially, to pay for investment that the manufactures have had to spend on research and development. The price of an LED television may be out of the reach of many for the time being, but over the next few years this will come down to realistic levels. Secrets Of How To Instantly Astral Project

Each and every person in the world can astral project. In fact, many of us do so, although we might not know that this is what we're doing. The ability to consciously astral project and be in control of the experience can be learned with practice.

You probably already know about the astral body and the astral plane, so we'll jump right into techniques which can assist you in your efforts to learn how to astral project. Different people do better using different methods, so you'll probably want to try out a few until you hit on one which gets good results for you.

There's one technique which you can practice as you're lying in bed about to go to sleep. There are five steps to this method.

*First; relax your body completely, trying to achieve a state of deep relaxation throughout your body. While you're lying there, tense and then release all of your muscles, starting from your toes and working your way towards your head. You may start feeling very heavy; this is natural and indicates deep physical relaxation.

*Second; Focus on your breathing. Take deep, slow breaths and concentrate on the feeling of the air filling your lungs. Exhale slowly, visualizing your tension and stress leaving your body each time you exhale.

*Third; Concentrate on the feeling of your body's total relaxation. Think of it as a stone or a lump of earth; something which is heavy and immobile. Now refocus your attention to your astral body; think about how light it feels, weightless in fact. Close your eyes and visualize your astral body floating away on the breeze.

*Fourth ; Right now, you may experience what many people do while practicing this technique; the sensation of seeing around in your darkened room, even with your eyes closed. The room will appear to be illuminated by a purple light. If you experience this, try to focus on the ceiling.

*Fifth; Try to visualize pulling this light to your astral body. You'll feel like you're floating; this is your astral body floating above your physical body. Just look down and you'll be able to see your bed with your physical body at rest below.

If you've been able to make it through all of these steps, you've done it! You can now depart on astral travels. If you can't astral project this way, there's another method which you can try.

This is called the gazing method and is used by many when learning how to astral project. It's a very simple method where you focus your complete attention on an object. This can be anything as long as its within your line of sight while you lie in bed.

Gaze at this object and stay focused on it. Eventually, your eyelids will become too heavy to keep open; but if you've succeeded you'll still be able to see this object in front of you. Continue to gaze at it until you feel an urge to stand up. When you do, you'll see your physical body lying in bed asleep! Don't be alarmed; this means you've succeeded and can begin to astral travel.

If these techniques don't work for you right away, don't become discouraged. You may need to practice for a while before you can successfully astral project. Persistence is key.

It's less important how you do it as that you are able to get the message to your subconscious mind that there's nothing to fear about astral projection and that it's perfectly fine for your astral body to leave the physical realm and travel. One good way to communicate with your subconscious is to repeat affirmations to yourself.

Plenty of techniques can help you learn how to astral travel; you'll find the right one for you with a little practice and possibly some trial and error.

Hypnosis, especially guided hypnosis works for many; having an expert there to explain everything and tell you exactly what you need to do can be extremely helpful.

New audio technologies called binaural beats can also help you learn to astral project. These specially designed recordings consist of slightly different frequencies played into each ear. The effect of these recordings is to place the listener into the meditative, deeply relaxed state where astral projection comes naturally.

Learning to astral project isn't as hard as you might think. It's a capacity which all of us have inherently. It's just a matter of practicing and fine tuning it. After all, you were born with the ability to learn to ride a bicycle, though you had to practice it. UFC 92 was a high impact affair, with Rashad Evans defeating Forrest Griffin by TKO to win the light heavyweight title and Frank Mir knocking out Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira to claim the UFC interim heavyweight title. The event had been dubbed The Ultimate 2008 and every one of the main cards six matches ended via TKO.

While nominally taking subordinate status to the Evans/Griffin main event the most shocking result by far was Frank Mirs second round TKO stoppage of Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Nogueira was the overwhelming favorite coming into the fight and had never been stopped inside the distance during a career where hed faced the best of the best: Fedor Emelianenko (three times), Josh Barnett (twice), Semmy Schilt and Mirko Cro Cop among many others. In the matchup to fill the Interim UFC title vacated by Randy Couture, Nogueira had absorbed a punching barrage from Tim Sylvia before gaining a submission victory.

Mir, meanwhile, had been on the verge of a full time move to the broadcast booth before his victory over WWE superstar turned MMA fighter Brock Lesnar. The conventional wisdom concerning Mir was that hed never fully recovered from a serious motorcycle accident in 2004 and that he was essentially a shot fighter physically, emotionally and psychologically. There would be no such reprieve against Nogueira, according to many pundits, as he was too experienced and too good of a BJJ player in his own right to give Mir any such opportunities for a fluke submission. Mir entered the UFC 92 fight as a +305 wagering underdog, meaning that oddsmakers and the betting public agreed that he had little chance to prevail in this matchup against a highly experienced veteran that had never been stopped inside the distance.

The fight was certainly one-sided, but it was Mir who was in control throughout. From the opening horn he demonstrated surprisingly sharp striking skills, and knocked Nogueira down twice in the first round. Not expecting a solid standup offense, Nogueira looked downright lost in the later stages of the first round.

Though Mir appeared in full control of the fight as the second round began, the end would come with startling suddenness and brutality. After a low kick attempt by Nogueira, Mirs counter tagged his opponent and he followed up with a big right hook that sent the Brazilian crashing to the canvas.

In the light heavyweight championship match, Forrest Griffin got off to a good start in his title defense by using his superior height and reach and an impressive array of kicks to keep Rashad Evans just out of range for two full rounds. That changed dramatically in the third, as a flash knockdown by the challenger gave him the opening he needed to mount Griffin and unleash a brutal ground and pound assault.

The most highly anticipated match on the undercard also featured a lopsided TKO finish as Quinton Rampage Jackson dominated Wanderlei Silva in the third fight between the two men. It was Jacksons first fight since his well publicized hit and run incident in Orange County, California and he looked very sharp throughout before bringing the contest to a close with a perfectly placed left hook to the cheekbone.
