Night Nurse: Phenomenal, hard story of nurse (Stanwyck) who couldn't disregard bizarre goings on in home where she works. Blondell adds zingy aid and it is one of Gable's most impressive early appearances. Cast includes Barbara Stanwyck, Ben Lyon, Joan Blondell, Clark Gable, Charlotte Merriam, and Charles Winninger.
A Bullet for Sandoval: Ex-Confederate Hilton plots reprisal on don Borgnine, the grand daddy of Hilton's child, for indirectly causing the toddler to die. Cast includes Ernest Borgnine, George Hilton, Alberto De Mendoza, and Gustavo Rojo. (91 minutes, 1970)
The Search: Poignant drama of American cadet Clift regarding for concentration camp survivor Jandl in postwar Berlin, when the boy's mommy despondently searches all the camps for him. Ed Television: Amusing yam in reference to a despondent cable Television network that plans to televise a normal man's life for every waking minute of the day and turn the meager sap into an overnight star. Onionhead: A messy film with Griffith joining the Coast Guard in pre WW2 and becoming a ships chef. The film tries to be a comedy, a romance, and a drama at the same time and succeeds at none.
