Guitar Hero: Metallica to Rock your World!

By Crystal Jennings

Guitar Hero: Metallica for Wii was developed by Neversoft and published by Activision. This music video game was scheduled to be released in several areas such as North America and Europe. This is the second game in the Guitar Hero series it is also said to be the best one.

This game is a 100% Metallica approved. They have personally picked out the songs that were included in the game. Get to hang with them in their tours and perform on stage with them and feel like a real member for the band.

Metallica has picked the songs that were included in the game so it is truly 100% Metallica. We enjoy listening to their songs but we will appreciate more their music when we get to play them. This time we will know how it feels to be a member of the band.

Each game stage has its own difficulty and even more when you play the 'Expert+' mode. This mode requires the use of a second pedal for the drums and you will experience the real deal. The second pedal is sold separately but you can get it for free when you pre-order the game. Along with the pedal, a splitter is also added as a bonus item for pre-orders.

Several motion captures were performed by the band that were all included in the game. Guitar Hero: Metallica for Wii includes extra videos such as behind-the-scenes also concert and tour videos. Metallica was really hands on with this game and the truly embraces what Metallica is, hardcore rock-metal band.

Additional items such as a drum pedal and splitter is available in pre-order items. Even if the game allows the player to play lead and bass guitar it does not allow lead and rhythm guitar which may come as a weakness for this game and may be noticed by hardcore Metallica fans. But all-in-all this is the best thing you can get as a Metallica fan. - 29943

Online Roulette System Scam - Lets Talk Winning

By Chris Smith

I am going to give you some info about a website I have stumbled upon that sells a variety of gambling systems, including ones for online roulette. These systems are available to purchase through this website, which is called 'Roulette to Win'.

I have studied this website closely over the last few weeks and it looks like there are new systems being brought out every month more or less. The maker must be making an incredible amount of money with all these fantastic new systems right? Or, perhaps he is making money dishonestly by selling these systems to the nave public.

An example of a system on sale on this website is Lucky Numbers. I thought this was hilarious - he is basically selling a selection of 'lucky' online roulette numbers! How on earth do people fall for this ridiculous stunt?

Roulette to Win offers over 80 different systems for gambling - mostly for roulette but there are also some for craps and baccarat. You can get a system for $35 and unbelievably a certain baccarat system will set you back $6000!

Ok so let's look at this honestly. If there was a total of 80 effective systems around do you really think there would still be such a thing as a casino? The website owner is using everything he can to lure in unsuspecting people looking to make easy money online.

It actually amazes me that people are getting away with selling so much junk to the general public. I suppose that the only reason he is getting away with it is because the authorities have bigger fish to fry.

I would say that this is one of the worst online gaming sites I have ever seen. I just can't believe the number of ridiculous claims and lies that are on there, it would be a complete waste of time visiting it.

To sum up I think that it would be in your best interests to avoid 'Let's Talk Winning'. It would be nearly impossible to find a successful system for online gambling, if there was one at all, as there are so many for sale in one place. - 29943

Boxing Great Alexis Arguello Remembered

By Ross Everett

Alexis Arguello, one of the greatest boxers to ever compete at 130 pounds, was found dead in his Managua, Nicaragua home in early July of an apparent suicide. He was 57 years old. Arguello was found with a gunshot wound to his chest, but his high political stature in the country meant that an investigation would be forthcoming to verify that it was indeed self inflected. Arguello was the mayor of Nicaraguas capital city at the time of his death.

Known for his class outside the ring as much for his tenacity inside the ring, hes best known to casual fight fans for his epic war in 1982 with Aaron The Hawk Pryor when he moved up in weight after dominating at lighter weight classes. Though Arguello would lose via 14th round knockout (amid some controversy due to an apparent mystery drink offered to Pryor by his trainer Panama Lewis) it was a thrilling toe to toe battle that even the most knowledgeable boxing experts remember fondly to this day. Ring Magazine not only named it Fight of the Year, but later would dub it Fight of the Decade. Promoter Bob Arum offered these thoughts on Pryor/Arguello:

"It was a brutal, brutal fight. That was something I will never, ever forget as long as I live. That was one of the most memorable fights I ever did."

While the first Pryor fight may have brought him the most mainstream notoriety, boxing cognoscenti are aware that Arguello is arguably the best lightweight and junior lightweight in the history of the sport. Arguello never lost a fight at 130 pounds and would end his career with an astounding 82-8 record with 65 knockouts and championships in three different weight classes.

Ironically, Arguellos career didnt get off to a good start and he lost his debut in 1968 via first round TKO. After that, he seldom lost again. He was at his best against his toughest adversaries including Ray Mancini, Bobby Chacon and Ruben Olivares. Bob Arum remembered him not only as a great fighter, but as a great man:

"Not only was he one of the greatest fighters I've ever seen, he was the most intelligent fighter. He was a ring tactician. Every move was thought out. And he was a wonderful, wonderful person."

The articulate, intelligent Arguello was frequently quoted on the fight game and how champions should conduct themselves. Here, he speaks of his attitude toward his opponents:

Of course after the fight you want to make sure that youre okay and so is the other guy, its a brotherhood in there, so you want to make sure everyone is okay after the war is over.

Arguello would frequently admonish boxers who didnt show the same respect for the sport or their status as champion:

When you won that title you should know now that you are representing a whole country or nation with your actions and you are now in a glass house or under a microscope and you better be ready to make your people proud.

Most significantly, Arguello loved boxing and sought to protect it from those who would undermine its greatness:

I respect boxing because it has given me so much and thats why I will never allow anyone to mistreat the sport of boxing if I can help it.

While the modest, dignified Arguello would never say it himself he also gave back immeasurably to the sport of boxing with his grace, intelligence, talent and toughness. - 29943

What Are The Benefits Of A Past Life Regression?

By Jon J Collings

They say, only twenty five percent of people believe that reincarnation exists. This does not prove it does not exist. Have you ever felt inclined towards or perhaps realized you had the ability (talent) for something and wondered where that talent came from? You are, I am sure, what I am referring to. In our daily lives we sometimes feel a strong connection to something and can think of no reason for it. It could, perhaps, have been something in your past life that was important to you.

Unfortunately, its possible existence or validity is overlooked by many people and tends to be ignored. The opportunity to expand personally is missed out by that person or persons. To discover who they were in the past and who they are today, in the present. Ignoring information received on their past lives makes it easy to impede personal growth and to achieve success.

Extensive research into life regression has now become a tool to help emotionally disturbed people and is considered a very powerful tool in this arena.

The benefit of clearing and healing of trauma is very common with life regression. When it comes to trauma we have two choices, either face it head on or try to change it. As we talk of confronting trauma or of life regression the option of rescuing the past and helping the individual to continue to move on and bring trauma into a position to be viewed by a higher self, as a whole.

Past life regression can also help in contacting our creative side. There isn't a person out there that doesnt have a mix of talents and attributes that help guide them through life towards certain choices over others. A past life regression can help you go back through one or more lives where we can bring the attribute or the past life to act as an inner guide.

A past life regression can also help you rewrite a past-life contract. Karma is a wonder of a thing it always comes back to us. When it involves another person it can have something to do with a promise or an agreement that we made with that person in a past life. To free yourself from this agreement you can go back to that lifetime where you created the promise originally and you can decide, most often with the help of an Inner Guide, whether or not the is an atonement that can be done or if the contract can be modified to help you with a current situation.

There is also the most significant benefit for going through past life regression and that is grounding and affirming ones self.

People who go back to a past life through past life regression want to feel more grounded and this is not uncommon and they also become more aware of themselves as a person. Its factual that they are now aware why they have some connections, desires, characteristics and talents. This information explains why they have these abilities and enables them to accept the situation, who they are and to live a more balanced life.

You can ask the experts in the field. They agree that if a person truly wants to enhance or improve their life then they need to practice past life regression. Past life regression will help you remember the lives you have had so that you can live a more fulfilled life this time.

You may think your experiencing simple figments or feelings of imagination. However, a catharsis will happen and your mind will open breaking down barriers blocking your achievement abilities and making it possible for you to achieve all you want in life.

To briefly recap the benefits of life regression include dealing with traumatic events from the past so that we can move forward in the present life. By dealing with issues from the past we are better equipped to make better decisions today because we can use the experiences we have had in the past.

Knowing the history of past lives enables you to avoid the same mistakes in the present. It is a truth of your personal life and also world wide. Knowledge of any wrong doings in the past and having possibly paid the price can help you change and improve your present life for the better.

The most beneficial part of past life regressions, however, is all the knowledge you have obtained. A more complete understanding of who you are, what you are and why you are who you are. You know have the opportunity, here in the present, to live more completely and a more balanced life. To live to your fullest potential, utilizing all your talents, abilities and skills. All that you never knew you possessed. - 29943

Selecting The Ideal Karaoke Song To Sing On Stage

By Fidelia Chan

The largest decision that any karaoke singer has to make for karaoke is what song they should undertake on stage. There are literally hundred of thousands of tracks available with most karaoke sets, so it can be discouraging looking through the big book of songs, but if you keep in mind a few points it will make your night better, and render as much enjoyment as possible.

First, ensure that you select a karaoke track that befits your voice. Whether it is your 1st time or 101st time, you have to ascertain that you can achieve at least majority of the tones you need. If you have a deep voice, there is no point of picking out artists like Celine Dion or Whitney Houston, and the same goes for high-pitch voices; Barry White should be out of the question. Or Else choose karaoke tracks that fit within your range, and that way rather of concerning about if you can hit that difficult note coming up, you will be able to relax and just savour the song.

Selecting the proper karaoke track also depends on what you are getting up stage for. If you are with friends, and looking at getting up as a group for a bit of fun, it is advised to pick out an up-tempo song that befits your mood instead of a dull ballad. If you are a regular, and want to take something a bit more serious, there is nothing incorrect in picking out a slower song if you can address it.

If you're celebrating an adult / older folks birthday with a karaoke party. You need to recognize what songs to choose. Do your preparation. You don't want to select any old karaoke song; you require to take karaoke music that evokes a sense of nostalgia. Find what songs were fashionable when the party honoree grew up. Your easiest bet is to find the top 10 songs of each year or decade and establish your play lists around those songs.

But a minute tip to remember about most karaoke bars is that most people are out to have a good time, so picking out a slow and depressing song that does not genuinely fit the atmosphere of the room can have sharp effects.

In Conclusion, when picking out your karaoke song it is advisable to find a song with a melodic line and lyrics that you are at least familiar with. You do not have to acknowledge every song you get up stage for off by heart (thats why the karaoke screens are there to help you) but selecting a karaoke song that you have listened more than once or twice will give you a bit more self-assurance in performing. - 29943

The Kentucky Derby For The Amateur Horse Race Fan

By Ross Everett

Although the Breeders' Cup is nipping at its heels, without a doubt the Kentucky Derby is the biggest horse race of the year in the United States. This is a race that attracts many fans from the general public that typically don't follow horse racing. A thorough understanding of horse racing, and which horses will win and why is a complex discipline that requires extensive specialized knowledge.

A true fluency in horse racing takes extensive study, but here are a few concepts that can help anyone better understand and enjoy the Kentucky Derby. Until recently, the Derby was a race dominated by the favorite. Since Spectacular Bid won the Derby in 1979, however, you can count the favorites whove won the race on one hand with fingers left over. In other words, the easiest way to pare down the field for a horse racing novice is to simply eliminate the popular favorite from consideration.

In all fairness, it should be noted that the favorite has been a historically strong proposition. In the 135 Kentucky Derby races the post time favorite has placed in the money at a 69% clip over the history of the race. So why have the favorites been on such a money losing run in the past two decades? My personal theory is that it is a function of the growing hype surrounding the race"in other words, you get a lot of amateur horse racing fans that distort the notion of the favorite being the most likely to win the race. The most hyped horse becomes the favorite, but this is not always the best horse. In any case, though it could be argued that the anti-favorite bias could be due for a turnaround, for the purpose of understanding this particular race Im going to forget about the post time favorite.

Post position is also something that the horse racing neophyte should pay attention to. Obviously post position number 1 is an advantage relative to the outer ones, but it hasnt been a strong edge over the other inside positions. Twelve Derby winners have had the #1 position going into the race (the most of any position) but positions #4 and #5 have had ten winners each. In terms of percentages, positions #1 through #5 have yielded 49 winners (or just under 40%). On the other hand, the outermost positions (#11 through #20) have had just 16 winners (or just under 13%). It is important to note that theres not always that many horses in the race, which would obviously result in few higher posts winning. Still, concentrating on horses with favorable post positions is another way to pare down a field that you know little about.

A couple more factors to consider are the horse's gender and breeding lineage. A couple of simple rules can be applied here--first of all, forget all horses that aren't intact males (geldings and fillies). Over 90% of all Derby winners have been intact males. Then, eliminate any horse that wasn't born in the state of Kentucky. This stipulation is starting to change, but for the time being is a good rule to apply for the novice. Over 80% of all Derby winners have been born in Kentucky.

Don't forget to consider dosage index numbers. These are a complex mathematical formula that measures a horse's breeding lineage plus his past performance. You want to look for horses with a dosage index of 4.00 or less--over half of Derby winners have met this criteria since dosage numbers came into common usage in the mid 1980's.

For a more serious introduction to horse racing, check out the many books available on the subject at any large bookstore. For a casual fan who just follows the 'big races' these rules will help you get a decent grasp on the Kentucky Derby and understand who will win and why. - 29943

Play Roulette On Your Mobile Phone

By Ralph Shaw

Today I am writing about mobile roulette. It is yet another form of roulette that is offered by online casinos and because online roulette is so popular these days it seems the casinos will stop at nothing to give people more opportunity to play.

I remember the days when all you did with a phone was make phone calls or send text messages back in the early 2000's you just wouldn't believe that you would be able to use your phone to play roulette for real money.

Now I need to say at this point that not every mobile phone will be compatible here. You will need a strong internet connection with your phone and high pixel quality. The internet connection is needed because if you are to play for real money you need to connect to the casino server.

To play roulette on you mobile phone you will need to download it to your phone. The casinos that offer this service will outline all the things that your phone needs.

So is it actually any good? Well it is a lot better than you would think. I am not going to lie and say that it is better than normal online roulette because it isn't but it is still entertaining.

The only problem I have with it is that I don't see the point of it. I just can't understand why you would need roulette on your mobile phone, why not just wait until you get home and play roulette online instead.

To be honest you aren't going to play roulette on your phone while you are at home because you could just play online. So the only time you will be playing is when you are out of the house, which is usually when you are at work. You obviously can't play while you're working so the only time that I see fit is on the bus to work or maybe on your lunch great.

This is my major concern, people with a gambling addiction are very vulnerable here. Anyone with a gambling addiction wants to gamble as much as they can so now with the convenience of having it on their phone they can now play even when they aren't at home, so I think mobile roulette should be approached with extreme caution. - 29943

Nick Diaz: MMA's Most Frustrating Fighter

By Ross Everett

Nick Diaz should forever be part of MMA history. Regardless of how his career transpired after February, 2007 he should have been remembered as part of one of the greatest fights ever. His battle against Takanori Gomi should have created a legacy like the first Forrest Griffin/Stephan Bonnar bout, only it was better. It should have been the biggest victory of Diazs career and the centerpiece of his highlight reel.

On April 10th, the Nevada Athletic Commission announced that hed failed a drug test. The Nevada Athletic Commission considers a THC level over 50 a positive result for marijuana usage. Nick Diazs THC level was an astounding 175 and that led NSAC Chairman Dr. Tony Alamo to speculate that in this situation marijuana was a performance enhancing drug. The rationale was that during the fight Diaz was feeling no pain"literally. Diaz was fined, suspended and the result of the fight against Gomi changed to a no decision.

Diaz had singlehandedly removed the luster from a classic bout. Following an action packed and very close first round Gomi took control in the second. Gomi had opened a cut on Diazs face and it was bleeding a gusher. On several occasions Gomi implored the referee to stop the fight, or at least check on the cut due to the excessive blood flow. With the ref showing no signs of stopping the fight and Diaz hanging tough, Gomi took the fight to the ground and in a matter of seconds found himself forced to tap out to a gogoplata.

While Diaz might not be a bad person, hes definitely someone who attracts trouble. Instead of learning a lesson from the experience of his positive drug test, he became a more outspoken advocate of marijuana use. While the relative risk pot smoking is debatable and beyond the purview of this article one thing is certain"fighters are prohibited from its use. Sadly, it appears that Diaz places a greater value on his recreational drug use than his legacy as a professional prizefighter.

Ironically, Japans notoriously lax oversight of mixed martial arts makes it a perfect fit for Diaz. He doesnt have to worry about drug tests or athletic commissions who arent sympathetic to his claiming a need for medical marijuana. His workrate, conditioning and versatility as a fighter will be appreciated by the Japanese fans, and offers countless matchup opportunities for the Japanese promotions. Most significantly, perhaps, his participation with Japanese promotions DREAM or Sengoku provides Diaz the opportunity to put his missteps behind him and reassert himself as one of the sports most exciting fighters and not one of its biggest troublemakers. - 29943

By Michael Nielson

One can surely make their forthcoming event pleasant and electrifying if they decide to hire a venue for the upcoming occasion, where they will get all those amenities, which are considered to be highly essential in making an occasion memorable. No matter, if you are planning to surprise a friend by giving a last minute surprise party, preparing for the upcoming Christmas, or a marriage ceremony arrangement, one can surely make such events unforgettable by hiring a venue for the occasion.

Organising a party in a hotel or a bar is seen as the most common way of arranging an event, and there would be nothing new for people if you arrange your party at a usual place. Hence, they would not enjoy much. However, if you hire a private venue for your get together, and do something different for the guests, the party will certainly amuse them, it will also leave a positive impression on the guests, and they will remember your event for a long time. If you wish to hire a private venue for the event, it would not make your guests to say that at this location they have already attended several parties. Nevertheless, if you put forward something different to your guests, they will certainly memorise you and your event for long period.

You need to plan and explore different venues to make things really exciting, and joyful. You need to locate such places for these events, as you never visited before. No doubt about it that your options are limitless in this connection and you just need to explore them.

The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Review

By James Ronald Wellingston

This album has become like a "museum piece" because of the way people talk about it with such reverence. Unfortunately this means that not enough people are focusing on what makes the album special in the first place: the music. This article is an attempt to take this album out of the museum and into the ears by focusing on it's music instead of it's "historical significance."

01. "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" - The album starts off with this brilliant Paul McCartney rocker (he wrote it, sang lead, and even played the lead guitar part) which really sets the mood (and the "concept") for the entire album. I love how the song intersperses pretty heavy rock with the somewhat ridiculous horn sections. The imagination displayed in this music is really overwhelming. I can imagine people who have grown up listening to the drab obvious music of "rock bands" like Nickelback being very confused by what's going on in this music as they've never really been introduced to imagination or creativity in music before. But if they can get over that initial confusion, I think they will begin to understand the possibilities of what music can be.

02. "With a Little Help from my Friends" - I know there are quite a few people who think that Joe Cocker really did the definitive version of this song, but I'm definitely not one of those people. I like Cocker's version, but the original contains the real magic to my ears.

03. "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" - One of the bands most famous songs. This is a great one to listen to in mono (you have to get The Beatles in Mono Box Set) because it sounds so much different in mono than it does in stereo. There's a lot more effect on the vocal in mono!

04. "Getting Better" - This song so perfectly encapsulates the sound of this album and what it's all about to me.

05. "Fixing a Hole" - Possibly the best lyrics Paul McCartney ever wrote. Another one of my favorites on an album filled with favorites.

06. "She's Leaving Home" - This song is very interesting to hear in mono because it's actually sped up (and thus pitched up) in the mono mix. It has a lot more energy that way. Definitely worth a listen!

07. "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite" - I think my favorite part of this song is the cut up tape section where it sounds like sort of insane random carnival music.

08. "Within You Without You" - Speaking of "far out" how about we go all the way to India? Some people don't like this song because it doesn't fit with their preconceived notions of what music is supposed to sound like. To me this song is brilliant because of that very reason. We shouldn't limit ourselves.

09. "When I'm 64" - Some people don't seem to get how "tongue in cheek" this song is. McCartney loved to mess around with different musical styles in this way. In fact I think Ween sort of ripped off their whole shtick from Paul McCartney. Listen to McCartney's "fruity" songs (as George Harrison called them sometimes) from the perspective of Ween doing them and I think maybe they'll click.

10. "Lovely Rita" - I definitely enjoy this song as well but I must say that I do think tracks #10 and #11 are the least interesting tracks on the album.

11. "Good Morning Good Morning" - John was inspired by a Kellogg's Corn Flakes commercial to write this song. Pretty cool lead guitar bits played by Paul.

12. "Sgt. Pepper's (Reprise)" - This one is even better than the album opener. It rocks something fierce!

13. "A Day in the Life" - In my opinion this is the best song ever written. An absolutely epic way to end the album. - 29943

Writing on Walls - A New Trend in Home Improvement

By Bart Icles

Years before, walls were among the parts of the house that receive the least attention when it comes to home improvement. Merely covering the walls with a solid color of paint would do or simply adding a layer of wall paper to it would already be enough to make walls look more attractive. However, there are lots of other ways to make walls more fun, attractive and as important as the many other features of the house. Rocky Balboa: Rocky, now a 6O-ish widower and restaurant owner, who's disassociated from his business yuppie son (Ventimiglia), plans to re-enter the ring one last time to battle the present Heavyweight Champ. Not as poor as it may have been, even though it strains credibility; contrived, to be certain, although additionally curiously admiring. A number of ESPN-type Television identities appear as themselves. Cast includes Sylvester Stallone, Burt Youthful, Milo Ventimiglia, Geraldine Hughes, James Francis Kelly Sick, Tony Burton, A. J. Benza, Henry G. Sanders, and Antonio Tarver. (102 minutes, 2006)

The Shadow: Lamont Cranston, having lived a life of ethical degradation, is "reborn" as a single minded crime fighter with the talent to haze gentlemen's minds. This adaptation of the venerable mush novels and cherished radio shows (carried to the theaters before in the late 1930s and in a 1940 series) comes frustratingly close to succeeding, although flounders. Cranston is both inscrutable and boring. Incredible production layout and wonderful outcomes get lost in a film that keeps the viewer at Ann's magnitude all the way through. What a waste of an awesome supporting cast! Cast includes Alec Baldwin, John Lone, Penelope Ann Miller, Peter Boyle, Ian McKellen, Tim Curry, Jonathan Winters, and Sab Shimono. (105 minutes, 1994)

Afurika Monogatari: Guide Sayer crashes his jet in wilds of Africa and comes upon a game conserve. Even old Jimmy is uninteresting. The movie was filmed in Kenya. Cast includes James Stewart, Philip Sayer, Kathy, Eleanora Vallone, and Heekura Simba. (120 minutes, 1981)

After Hours: A normal man goes through a succession of weird experiences throughout one remarkable day in N.Y.C. Author-director Coppola's Marie (as played by Dunst) is a modern-day gal, with contemporary music set contrary to the pomp and circumstance of the 18th century life. Starts to tire eventually and ends with a cry, not a smash although there's much to like here. Cast includes Kirsten Dunst, Jason Schwartzman, Judy Davis, Tear Tom, Steve Coogan, Rose Byrne, Asia Argento, Molly Shannon, Shirley Henderson, Danny Huston, Marianne Faithfull, Mary Nighy, and Sarah Adler. (123 minutes, 2006)

The Agronomist: A commanding, abrasive documentary picture of an intriguing individual, Jean Dominique, a leading Haitian figure and significant player in the nation's battle for human being rights. The film offers observations into the affairs of state and history of Haiti in recent years. The focus of the movie is to give us a lucid image of one guy's tough determination and large seated human rights beliefs, and his enthusiastic love for his country. The finale is shattering.
