Cast includes Greta Gerwig, Kent Osborne, Andrew Bujalski, Ry Russo, and Mark Duplass. (83 minutes, 2007)

The Man in the Iron Mask: Handsome retelling of the reliable Alexander Dumas story of a guy unreasonably imprisoned and encased in an iron mask-since his very existence challenges the reigning baron of France, the youthful, self-centered Louis XIV. The destiny of both are eventually in the hands of the aging although still enthusiastic Musketeers. It could be difficult to miss with that cast; the film is relatively enjoyable, however it does go on too long. Cast includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Jeremy Irons, John Malkovich, Gerard Depardieu, Peter Sarsgaard, and Hugh Laurie. (132 minutes, 1998)

The Village: Set in the 19th century, people live in a seemingly wonderful little village, but there is a problem. There is a race of 'creatures' that live surrounding the village. No one inside the village dares to go outside the city. One person, Luscious Hunt, has a strong urge to see what is out there. Eventually the world outside the village is exposed, and chaos ensues.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang: A kid's musical in regards to a flying automobile is one wacky journey, with entirely forgettable score and some of the shoddiest visual effects ever. This is loosely based on novel by Ian Fleming. Cast includes Dick VanDyke, Sally Ann Howes, Lionel Jeffiies, Gert Frobe, Anna Quayle, and Benny Hill. (142 minutes, 1968)

Alaska: Adolescent venture on a grand scale, as a brother and sister take off looking for their dad and his downed plane. Structured like an old B movie melodrama, however implemented with conviction contrary to magnificent, snowy landscape and characterizing an irresistible polar bear who befriends the youngsters. Heston, whose child prompted the drama, plays a mean, cunning old man. Cast includes Thora Birch, Vincent Kartheiser, Dirk Benedict, Charlton Heston, Duncan Fraser, and Gordon Tootoosis. (110 minutes, 1996)

I Want to Go Home: Lyrical author-actor Green plays a compulsive American cartoonist who voyages to Paris for an art show and to see his alienated daughter Benson. Depardieu, an exuberant admirer, brings him to his mom's country home for the weekend. Written by Jules Feiffer, with a score by John Kander, this Franco-American curio is appallingly poor. Cast includes Adolph Green, Gerard Depardieu, Linda Lavin, Laura Benson, Micheline Presle, and Ludivine Sagnier. (101 minutes, 1989)

The Accidental Tourist: This movie tells the story of Macon Leary, who is listless after the death of his son. This is compounded further when his wife decides to leave him because he won't snap out of it. With a divorce pending he finds himself involved with a new woman, who is helping bring him back to life. Now his wife decides to have him back, and he is faced with more tough questions. William Hurt, Kathleen Turner, Geena Davis, Amy Wright, and Bill Pullman star. (1988 Drama)

All at Sea: Strong comedy that keeps its own all the way through. Guinness is adorable as sailor who couldn't bear the sight of water although purchases rundown home on a wharf, turning it into an entertainment palace. Original title was Barnacle Bill. Cast includes Alec Guinness, Irene Browne, Percy Herbert, and Harold Goodwin. (87 minutes, 1957)
