Fun Videos About Erroneous Identities

By Tony K Graham

An unreasonable but forever fun premise for a film is when the characters swap places with each other or make believe to be someone else, it always ends up being hilarious and the lesson is as a rule about bearing in mind the other individual's perspective.

From'87 and featuring Dudley Moore, Kirk Cameron, "Like Father, Like Son". A heart surgeon by accident sprinkles an old Indian potion into his Bloody Mary and presto, he and his laid-back son have traded identities. Cast includes Dudley Moore, Kirk Cameron, Margaret Colin, Catherine Hicks, Patrick O'Neal, and Sean Astin.

The father is a heart surgeon who happens to be so immersed in his own occupation that he pays no attention to the challenges the son is having with school and social activities. The trading places with each other leads to extraordinarily hilarious complications at work and at school but each receives insight into the others life.

In a similar plot the movie "Freaky Friday" from 2003 has Jamie Lee Curtis playing a mother who swaps places with Lindsay Lohan who plays her 15 years old daughter. The mom wants more support for her imminent nuptials to her fianc and the daughter wants her mom to support her musical dreams with her rock band.

A fortune cookie on a Thursday night brings about a Friday where they substitute identities and learn to have compassion for the other. But they have to find a way to swap back before the wedding ceremony on Saturday. Starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan as mother and daughter and Mark Harmon as the mother's fianc.

To finish a recommendation for a diverse kind of identity swap, in "Mrs. Doubtfire" Robin Williams plays a free-spirited husband and father who grudgingly gets divorced after fourteen years. Though, he can't bear to be away from his kids so he pretends to be a British housekeeper and his ex-wife hires him as a nanny.

Robin Williams stars as the dad and of course, Mrs. Doubtfire, Sally Fields is the mom and Lisa Jakob, Matthew Lawrence and Mara Wilson play the children. Mrs. Doubtfire is a fantastic family film from'93 that should not be missed.
